As Kindergarten is winding down, Maddy had her final project that she needed to complete. Her class had gone to the zoo on a fieldtrip. After this, they were to put together a report on an animal of their choice.
Of course, my daughter would pick a snake. Both Scott and I let her know that there were many, many types of snakes. Scott took her to the library and we took her online and let her pick. She chose the "Common Rat Snake."
She looked through lots of pictures and selected the ones she wanted for her display. We also helped her find out information on the snake that her report asked for.
We had Maddy practice her report so she wouldn't get so nervous to present it infront of her class:
