The Polar Express

Last year I had won tickets on the radio to ride the Polar Express. We had such a great time that we decided to do it again this year. We ended up going the week before Thanksgiving since we were able to save a little on the tickets. This year my mom came and also Sheila and the kids. We had a GREAT time! We met at my mom's house to caravan up to Heber since Sheila hadn't been there. We had dinner at this fast food place called the Dairy Keen...it has been in Heber since the dawn of time, but they had decent food. They also had a replica of Hogwarts with the Hogwarts Express. You could put a quarter in the machine and have the train take you from London to Hogwarts! It was great fun for the kids.

Next we were off to the Heber Creeper to ride the Polar Express. The kids could dress in their PJ's if they wanted, but didn't have to. We got on the train and received hot chocolate and cookies. Each car had their own narrator and elves! On our car we had Sparkle and Pixie. Then the big moment... the train took us to the North Pole and Santa got on the train. He met with each kid and asked them what they wanted for Christmas.

My awesome nephew, Hunter, is just at the age where he is starting to question Santa's existance. He was sitting with my mom and said "we didn't really go to the North Pole...we didn't even go outsite of Utah."

Santa also gave each child a bell. It was great fun and look forward to going next year!
